Golden Paragraph:Leslie Yeo is an Australian Research Council Future Fellow, Professor of Chemical Engineering and Director of the MicroNanomedical Research Centre at RMIT University. Leslie’s expertise is focused on fundamental and applied acoustomicrofluidics for biotechnological applications that span biosensing, point-of-care diagnostics and drug delivery. His primary research activity in SimInhale is centered around the development of next generation nebulisation devices using acoustics for inhaled macromolecular aerosol and nanoparticle delivery. In collaboration with other SimInhale members, Leslie will develop these devices and test them in both in vitro and in vivo models with a wide range of therapeutic targets for various respiratory diseases. He is also interest in collaborating with SimInhale members to develop in silico models to optimise the technology.
