Golden Paragraph: Fotos Stylianou is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Cyprus and is a member of the Computational Sciences Laboratory (UCY-CompSci). His research activity in SimInhale is the use of high fidelity computer simulations for the prediction of drug deposition in the human airways, in particular the prediction of regional deposition in the upper airways. In this regard, he is interested in the factors that affect deposition in the mouth-throat region with the aim of understanding and controlling the leading effects that contribute to mouth-throat loss for drugs delivered via DPIs.
