Golden Paragraph: Sandra Cvijic is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Cosmetology, University of Belgrade-Faculty of Pharmacy. Her research interest within SimInhale COST Action is related to biopharmaceutical characterization of inhaled medicines, including: (i) design of biorelevant in vitro dissolution test, (ii) assessment of pulmonary drug permeability, (iii) development of Biopharmaceutical Classification System for inhaled drugs (iBCS); (iv) in silico modeling and simulation of inhaled drugs bioperformance in different patients/population groups, (v) development of the coupled in silico platform Computer Flow Dynamics & Physiologically-Based Pharmacokinetic Modeling (CFD & PBPK) to predict in vivo deposition and absorption of inhaled drugs, (vi) establishment of in vitro-in silico-in vivo relationship/correlation (IVISIVC/IVISIVR) for inhaled drugs dissolution/absorption.
